Early Music Program

Early Music — fall Semester

MIC is one of only a few community music schools nationally that offer an early music program. In addition to private study on period instruments, chamber music, small group classes, and large ensemble opportunities are also available. The early music faculty guides students toward an appreciation of period styles, with appropriate bows and instruments. Many early music offerings are intergenerational, making classes an experience the entire family can enjoy together.
