My job is to facilitate an environment where students can develop a curiosity for musical possibilities and an ability to critically think about the physical, mental, and spiritual components of learning music.

I enjoy playing viola, singing, and reading.
It is revelatory to discover music that resonates with us deeply. Developing skills that help musicianship and performance turns students into life long learners.
I love translating my own voice into the piano; since the piano cannot change sound once you strike a key, it takes the relationship between notes and the timing of notes in order to convey musical meaning.
