Downers Grove

We invite you to participate in private instruction, musicianship classes and/or chamber music taught by our experienced and dedicated faculty.  

Instruction is available for students of all ages and ability levels and is offered for the following instruments:  piano, violin, voice, clarinet, saxophone and double bass.  Chamber music and musicianship classes are also offered to enhance your musical education.  All students registered for private lessons at MIC receive free musicianship classes as an added value to their private lesson experience.

The Music Institute of Chicago experience begins with a personalized placement meeting.  At this meeting, we will answer your questions about MIC and provide information about our offerings and school policies. Most importantly, this allows us to learn about each student's personality, learning style, interests, and goals to find the best student-teacher match. 

Student Recitals

Regular recital opportunities are provided for students at the Downers Grove campus.  These performances are free and open to the public.  Please drop in if you would like to enjoy some performances by our students.
