Welcome!

The Music Institute of Chicago is proud to have a partnership with Fourth Presbyterian Church's Gratz Center, to offer music lessons and classes to students in downtown Chicago.

Instruction is available for students of all ages and ability levels and is offered by our experienced and dedicated faculty for the following instruments:  piano, violin, voice, flute and guitar.

Suzuki instruction and musicianship classes are also offered to enhance your child's musical education.  All students registered for private lessons at MIC receive deeply discounted musicianship classes as an added value to their private lesson experience.

The Music Institute of Chicago experience begins with a personalized placement meeting.  At this meeting, we will answer your questions about MIC and provide information about our offerings and school policies. Most importantly, the interview allows us to learn about the personality, learning style, interests, and goals of each student so that the best student-teacher match may be found.
