My philosophy for private instruction is to create a comfortable atmosphere where students are free to be creative and uninhibited in expressing themselves. I firmly believe in stressing the fundamentals including: relaxed body positioning, core of sound, scales, and technique.
Most importantly, I believe bass players should be well-rounded musicians, so I ensure that each of my students receives a foundation in orchestral, solo, and chamber music repertoire within a wide variety of musical styles, including classical, jazz, and popular music.
Interests/hobbies outside of music:
Photography and videography. I have always loved telling a story with images and capturing a feeling within a moment. With videography, I get to combine all of my loves or music, film, and video into one art form, and tell someone's story while conveying their emotions and passions.

Why Study Music:
I studied music, at first, for myself and to learn the craft. Now, I continue to study and perform music in order to connect with people and places.
