Basic Teaching Philosophy or Special Music Interests/Specialties

I believe through teaching music, we can learn the skills necessary for all aspects of life. Each family and student is unique - I try to approach each student from a perspective where I try to fit their needs and development.

A few of my favorite things…
Most memorable musical moment?
What do you love about playing your instrument?

I really enjoy trying foods from different cultures, especially spicy foods!

I started playing the cello because of a recording I heard of Yo-Yo Ma my mother had purchased. It was quite a moment when I not only got to meet him in person but also had the opportunity to play on stage with him in a performance at the Music Institute Gala while I was in high school!

What I love most about playing the cello now is that it evolves with me as I go through different phases of life.
