Music Lessons for All Ages and All Abilities!
Welcome to the Music Institute of Chicago's Evanston Campus. For over 90 years, we have offered a wide range of private lessons and group classes to students of all ages. You can learn from our expert, supportive faculty in person - or online.
With teaching studios and rehearsal rooms, students of all ages are engaged in weekly private lessons, group classes, ensemble rehearsals, and many other musical activities.
Our children have learned countless valuable skills, but the Music Institute has done much more than teach them these skills; it plays a central role in helping them become themselves - for their music is integral to who they are.

How to get started with music lessons or classes at MIC:
- Please complete an inquiry form so we can learn more about your interests and where you'd like to take lessons or classes.
- Someone will be in touch to schedule a personalized placement meeting with a Campus Director.
- When you first meet with a Campus Director, we will answer your questions about MIC and provide information about our offerings and school policies. Most importantly, the interview allows us to learn about each student's personality, learning style, interests, and goals to find the best student-teacher match.
