Music School Open House - Chicago Campus
Make music and meet faculty at our Open House!
The Music Institute of Chicago - St. James Cathedral
65 E. Huron
Chicago, IL 60611
United States
Free and open to the public.
The Music Institute of Chicago is pleased to invite you to visit us in person at an upcoming MIC Open House!
We have something for you - private instruction, group classes, or ensemble experience - no matter your interest.
Interested students will meet the faculty, learn about the curriculum, hear from our current students, and try out an instrument! These interactive events feature instrument petting zoos with hands-on fun exploring string, brass, wind, and percussion instruments.
The Music Institute of Chicago's passionate, professional, and dedicated faculty are attuned to working with the unique needs of each student. Share your love of music with others, make new friends, and enjoy MIC student benefits like free tickets to world-class performances at Nichols Concert Hall and access to workshops and master-class opportunities.
This is a great opportunity to explore MIC and register for our private music lessons and group classes.
What to expect:
- Student performances featuring all types of music!
- An Instrument Petting Zoo for short one-on-one sessions to experience the instruments you heard on stage first-hand, including guitar, violin, piano, cello, saxophone, and more!
- Meet our faculty and fellow students, try something new, and make new friends!
We look forward to meeting you!
