Time for Three stands at the busy intersection of Americana, modern pop, and classical music with performance that combine various style, and traditions of Western music that fold in on themselves and emerge anew. Renowned for its charismatic and energetic performances in venues including Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and The Royal Albert Hall, they have collaborated with artists as diverse as Ben Folds, Branford Marsalis, and Joshua Bell. Time for Three has premiered original works by composers Chris Brubeck and Pulitzer Prize winners Jennifer Higdon and William Bolcom and in 2020, the band partnered with cellist and composer Ben Sollee on the soundtrack to the Focus Features film Land, directed by and starring Robin Wright, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2021.
