The 2021 Vancouver International Music Competition (VIMC) was held on October 15, 2021. Established in 2017, the Vancouver International Music Competition is an invitation for young musicians around the world to perform and grow in a competitive and welcoming environment. Our purpose is to promote the inheritance and preservation of classical music and to encourage young musicians to explore contemporary and modern music with a focus on Canadian composers.
