DuPage Symphony Orchestra (DSO) Young Artists Auditions

The DuPage Symphony Orchestra (DSO) encourages serious study and musical excellence among young musicians through its annual Young Artists Auditions held annually every January/February. Each entrant is evaluated by experienced judges and will receive written comments and suggestions based on their individual performances.
The First Place Winner will appear at the March subscription concert, and first and second place winners receive cash prizes.
FIRST PLACE WINNER -
Academy member Isabella Brown, violin
Isabella played the Dvorak Violin Concerto with the DuPage Symphony Orchestra at the March 16 subscription concert at Wentz Concert Hall.
SECOND PLACE WINNER -
Academy member Irina Casasnovas, violin
HONORABLE MENTION -
Academy member Cameron Chiu, cello
Academy member Zechary Mo, viola
