DuPage Symphony Orchestra Young Artists Auditions

Congratulations to the 60th annual DuPage Symphony Orchestra (DSO) Young Artists Auditions winner Academy cellist Nathan Mo, student of Hans Jorgen Jensen. As winner, Nathan will perform Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme, Op. 33 with the orchestra and receive a cash award of $500. Academy violinist Ria Honda, student of Almnita Vamos received Honorable Mention.
The First Place winner will receive a cash award of $500 and the opportunity to appear as a soloist with the DuPage Symphony on Sunday, March 20 at 3 pm.

Ottorino Respighi's Church Windows and Felix Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 5 in D Major, Reformation, frame the DSO's Palm Sunday concert. Nathan Mo, first-place winner of the DSO's 2016 Young Artists Auditions for area high school musicians, presents the centerpiece of this distinctive program, Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme.
