The Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association would like to invite you and a guest to the China NCPA Orchestra concert on Saturday, October 28 at 8pm. Praised for its "joyful confidence and youthful strength" (Musical America), the China NCPA Orchestra brings an eclectic program of symphonic works to Symphony Center. American composer Lou Harrison's Pipa Concerto spotlights a traditional Chinese instrument performed by the world's reigning pipa virtuoso and Silk Road Ensemble member Wu Man.
