Menuhin Competition-London 2016

Ria Honda, 15, Academy violin student of Almita Vamos, has been selected as a Junior Competitor in the long-standing Menuhin Competition. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Yehudi Menuhin's birthday, the Menuhin Competition returns to London for the first time since 2004. International soloists and 44 of the world's best young violinists will star in an 11-day festival of concerts and events for all ages. Hosted by the Royal Academy of Music, junior participants will compete for a 1-year loan of a fine Italian violin by Florian Leonhard Fine Violins, as well as cash prizes and scholarships.
