MIC Cellist Wins Concerto Competition

Congratulations to Leevy Williams, age 14, winner of the CYSO’s Concert Orchestra Concerto Competition, held February 20 in downtown Chicago.  Leevy will perform the Saint-Saens Cello Concerto in A minor during the upcoming 2013-14 season, accompanied by the CYSO Concert Orchestra. Leevy is a cello student of Gilda Barston at MIC’s Winnetka Campus.
