MIC Young Artist Concerto & Aria Competition

After the preliminary round of the MIC Young Artist Concerto & Aria Competition on January 18, three finalists were selected from an original field of 12 contestants. Congratulations to Joshua Brown, violin student of Almita and Roland Vamos who finished first. As the winner, he performed as featured solosist with the Ars Viva Symphony Orchestra under the leadership of Maestro Alan Heatherington on their Rising Star concert April 12 at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie. The competition is open to MIC students only.
