Music Institute Represented in Sun-Times Splash Column

Mark George, President and CEO of the Music Institute of Chicago was invited by the Chicago Sun-Times to write a Splash Column, reflecting on the notion of "apprenticeship" for young musicians.  Three MIC students, collectively known as the Solaris Trio, are experiencing an apprenticeship experience this week at Chicago's Harris Theater. The young trio is performing with dancers from the renowned Trey McIntyre Project on a new work entitled The Vinegar Works: Four Dances of Moral Instruction.  The performance occurs on Thursday, April 3 at 7:00pm at the Harris Theater. Tickets are still available.
