Northwest Suburban Music Teachers Association is an organization of independent music teachers from the Northwest Chicago suburbs. The purpose of this association is to further the art of music and music education. Members of NWSMTA have access to programs that support and encourage teaching and provide performance opportunities for students and teachers alike.
This association is a local affiliate of the Illinois State Music Teachers Association (ISMTA) and the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA).
FIRST PLACE WINNER - SENIOR DIVISION
Music Institute student, Harry Zhang, 15, won the Northwest Suburban Music Teachers Association’s 2019 Summer Music Camp Scholarship.
Harry is a student of Music Institute Faculty member, Dr. Soo Young Lee.
