Basic Teaching Philosophy or Special Music Interests/Specialties

Music is a powerful, universal, and pleasant language that can exist no matter of time and place. It embodies the diversity in human culture and is deeply related to other disciplines. Learning music can cultivate one’s curiosity and creativity to discover and understand different parts of the world, and therefore, is beneficial for all people.

I enjoy photography and cooking as my non-musical hobbies. Besides piano music, I also enjoy listening to all other types of music, especially Brahms' symphonies and Wagner's operas. Music is the best way for me to communicate with people and the world.
