Charleston International Music Competition

Yaejin Shin, 16, violin student of Brigitte Gray competed in the Charleston International Music Competition. Yaejin performed the Viotti Concerto No. 22 on January 15 and was invited to the final round in February where she was selected as the 1st prize winner in the 16 year old age group.
Yaejin is involved in her high school symphony orchestra and their chamber orchestra. She says that she loves playing violin because it gives her an outlet to express herself in a different way. Congratulations to Yaejin!
