London Young Musician (LYM) is an international online classical music performance competition for musicians under the age of 28 from all countries. LYM is open to all classical musical instruments and vocal competitors.  The competition looks for talented musicians who have excellent musical skills, a strong personality and fantastic creativity in their video performance.

Congratulations to Sylvia Pine, age 10, violin, who won prizes in these categories:

 - Gold Prize & Characteristic Performance Special Prize,
    Original Composition Category

 - Gold Prize & Expressive Performance Special Prize,
    Young Talent Category

 -  Winner of the Versatile Musician Award & Most Award Points  

On October 10, 2021, during the Champions Show 2021 LYM Mid-season Online Concert, Sylvia performed her own piece, "Them and Variations on The Glow of the Lamp"  (see her performance at 29:20).    Sylvia studies with Davis King.
